Safe Intelligence, a leader in advanced artificial intelligence (AI) validation systems, has raised £4.15 million in a seed funding round spearheaded by Amadeus Capital Partners. OTB Ventures and existing investor Vsquared Ventures also contributed to the round. This financial boost aims to support the development of deep validation techniques for AI models, crucial for ensuring their reliability in real-world applications.
Safe Intelligence, born out of Imperial College London, is at the forefront of transforming how AI models are validated. The company's innovative approach helps identify and mitigate potential weaknesses in AI systems that could lead to severe operational failures.
This is increasingly important in high-stakes areas such as finance, mobility, robotics, and aviation, where even minor errors can result in substantial damage or significant financial losses.

The funds from this round will be used primarily for product development and market expansion. Safe Intelligence plans to refine their technology to support a broader range of models, including those based on neural networks and decision trees. The company also aims to extend its robustification solutions to language models in the future, broadening its impact across various sectors.
