Protex AI, a global provider of AI-driven workplace safety solutions, has raised $36 million in an oversubscribed Series B round led by Hedosophia, with participation from Salesforce Ventures and existing backers. This new capital fuels the company’s expansion across the United States, reinforcing its mission to reduce accidents and fatalities through AI and computer vision.

“As global industries grapple with tighter regulations and increasing operational complexities, safety has emerged as a critical lever for growth and resilience. The safety market is evolving rapidly, with organizations prioritizing automation, efficiency, and employee well-being. We’re at the forefront of this transformation, integrating cutting-edge computer vision and AI technologies to not only enhance safety but also drive measurable improvements in workplace operations.”

A shifting safety landscape

Recent OSHA statistics reveal that 2.4% of U.S. workers experience safety incidents annually, with more than 5,000 fatalities recorded last year. To combat this, Fortune 500 enterprises like DHL have adopted Protex AI to reduce workplace risk—achieving an average 64% cut in identified dangers within three months of deployment.

"Protex AI’s safety solution provides employers with the critical insights they need in order to make real-time decisions that mitigate risk and better protect their workforce. We’re excited to support Protex’s growth as their mission of applying AI to the global industrial workplace will reduce accidents and help optimize operations."

Deploying the funds for growth

Protex AI intends to use the newly raised funds to further develop its AI-powered platform, enhancing privacy-focused features and scaling its generative AI tool, Protex Copilot.

Copilot instantly analyzes large datasets to produce actionable insights—helping safety professionals tailor strategies that prevent accidents and reduce fatalities in industrial settings.

By bolstering its U.S. team, Protex AI aims to broaden its footprint across North America, which has been the company’s largest market for two consecutive years. The planned recruitment drive includes talent acquisition for product innovation and operational support.
