Eleos, the leader in AI for behavioral health, has announced a $60M Series C funding round. This investment was led by Greenfield Partners, with participation from existing investors such as F-Prime Capital, Eight Roads, Menlo Ventures and ION, and new ones including the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, Union Tech Ventures and Centerstone. It brings Eleos’ total funding to over $120M so far.

Coming on the heels of its recent Series B, this preemptive round reflects Eleos’ position as the most widely deployed enterprise-grade behavioral health AI solution on the market.

By focusing deeply on a specific care domain, Eleos has enabled AI Agents to transform care and reduce time-consuming administrative burdens.

Why this matters for behavioral health

The behavioral health industry has long struggled with administrative overhead and limited use of technology compared to other healthcare segments.

Eleos focuses on using AI to streamline documentation, compliance and overall care delivery — a critical need in a field where providers often face huge caseloads and complex reporting requirements.

“From day one, Eleos has been committed to empowering clinicians — not replacing them — and expanding their capacity. By building on our agents for clinical documentation and patient engagement, our new Compliance product is the next step in our mission to free up clinicians’ time and energy to focus on care rather than administrative bottlenecks. With this round of funding, we’re doubling down on the development of intelligent AI systems that drive efficiency and help providers capture the revenue they need to thrive and reach more people in need."

Alon Joffe, Co-Founder and CEO of Eleos

Putting fresh capital to work

Eleos will use the capital injection to expand its product offerings, grow its commercial team and enter underserved areas of behavioral healthcare, particularly substance use disorder (SUD) treatment centers.

Post-acute behavioral healthcare, an $11B segment historically underfunded by health tech, is a core focus of Eleos’ strategic growth plan.

The company has also launched a new clinical documentation improvement tool, Eleos Compliance, which proactively flags potential documentation errors. By harnessing “agentic AI,” the Eleos platform aims to simplify appeals processes, maintain regulatory standards and help providers secure the revenue they need to reach more people.

Inside Eleos: founders, vision, and approach

Eleos was co-founded by Alon Joffe (CEO) with a mission to free clinicians from documentation overload and enable them to focus on client care.

The company leverages the largest dataset of real-world behavioral health sessions to drive its proprietary AI technology.

A randomized controlled trial (RCT) showed that Eleos improved progress note submission times by over 80% and significantly boosted client engagement.

Eleos tripled its annual revenue in each of its first three years and doubled its revenue in 2024. With more than 120 customer organizations in over 30 states across the U.S., it is the most deployed AI platform in behavioral health. A dedicated board oversees the company’s direction, guiding its sustained growth and innovative product roadmap.

What sets Eleos apart is its focus on provider-centric technology. Rather than replacing clinicians, Eleos’ AI platform aims to simplify administrative work while enhancing care quality.

By using multimodal large language models (MM-LLMs) capable of processing various data inputs, Eleos stands out in the market and makes a tangible difference in how mental healthcare is delivered.
