Joy, a platform transforming how parents access support and guidance, has raised $14 million in Series A funding. Forerunner and Raga Partners co-led the round, with participation from Magnify Ventures, Ingeborg Investments, Shazi Visram, Rogue Venture Partners, and Next Legacy Partners.
The funding arrives alongside the launch of Joy Parenting Club, a new app designed for parents of newborns and toddlers. For $12 monthly, members get round-the-clock access to certified parenting experts who guide families from birth onward. The app also delivers AI-powered advice, milestone tracking, personalized product recommendations, and exclusive discounts in one place.
Raising children is expensive, stressful, and often isolating. New parents face an avalanche of information but struggle to find personalized, actionable advice when they need it most. Joy addresses this by consolidating fragmented resources into a single platform that replaces uncertainty with confidence and loneliness with community.
"Parenting is the most important job in the world, but most parents are left to do it alone. With Joy, every parent now has a village of experts—supercharged with AI—available in their pocket 24/7."
Emily Greenberg, President of Joy
Joy's approach combines artificial intelligence trained on certified expertise with the company's proprietary knowledge base. This delivers instant, evidence-based guidance tailored to each family's needs. When parents want a human conversation, certified coaches—including sleep consultants, lactation specialists, child development experts, and parenting counselors—are available 24/7 for live support.
"Parenting is one of life's most rewarding experiences, but it also comes with enormous challenges. Joy is addressing these by integrating the support and tools parents need into a single platform. The combination of AI and human expertise is a game-changer, and we're excited to support Joy's mission."
Julie Wroblewski, Managing Partner at Magnify Ventures
The new capital will accelerate development of Joy's AI platform, expand partnerships with major baby and parenting brands, and grow the company's network of expert coaches. Joy plans to extend its services to cover all stages of childhood, not just the early years.
The company's goal remains focused: bringing confidence and support to parents throughout their entire journey, from birth through every phase of raising children.
Joy builds AI technology specifically designed for parents. Through the Joy Parenting Club, members access certified parenting experts—from coaches to lactation consultants—available 24/7 to help families navigate parenthood successfully.
