Inntelo AI, a UK-based hospitality technology startup, announced it has successfully raised £506,000 in a pre-seed funding round. The round was led by venture capital firm Haatch, partnered with British Business Investments, and included contributions from Look AI Ventures. Several angel investors, including former executives from Trip.com and DocuSign, also participated. This round follows an earlier investment of £120,000 from Antler during Inntelo AI's founding stage.

The hospitality sector faces increasing pressures from rising costs, intense competition, and shifting workforce demographics.

Inntelo AI's platform addresses these challenges by automating guest interactions through AI-driven communication via WhatsApp or phone, converting inquiries into coordinated tasks across departments like housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.

The startup has already secured partnerships with major hospitality brands such as Radisson and Wyndham across the UK, UAE, and Europe.

Funding to Boost Commercial Expansion and Integrations

With the newly secured funding, Inntelo AI aims to accelerate commercial growth, ramping up sales and marketing activities. The investment will also support ongoing customer deployments and enhance integration capabilities with hotel property management systems, further improving operational efficiencies.

The company's immediate goal is to broaden its market reach, onboarding more hotels, and continuously innovating its technology to meet evolving hospitality needs.

Founded by Industry Veterans with Deep Operational Expertise

Inntelo AI was co-founded by CEO Asif Alidina, who brings over a decade of experience in hotel operations, including housekeeping and facilities management. This operational insight is complemented by a global advisory board comprising senior executives from leading hospitality brands such as Accor, Fairmont, and Hilton. This industry-focused approach ensures that Inntelo's solutions directly address genuine operational needs, enhancing both guest experiences and employee satisfaction.

"Hospitality’s AI transformation must be led from within the industry. Too often, hotels have struggled to adopt new technologies because they were developed without real operational insight. We’re incredibly excited about this new era, where the hospitality sector can not only embrace technology earlier than ever before, but also lead the way for the wider real estate and service industries."

Strong Investor Confidence in Hospitality AI Innovation

Investors recognize Inntelo AI's potential for significant industry impact. Fred Soneya, Co-Founder and General Partner at Haatch, stated, "Inntelo AI has all the hallmarks we look for in a high-potential startup – deep sector knowledge, real operational insight, and a product solving a clear pain point in a large, global market."

Angelo Burgarello, Partner at Look AI Ventures, added, "What immediately stood out to us was Inntelo’s ability to bridge the gap between guest expectations and hotel staff operations, something most solutions address only partially. We were particularly impressed by the team’s deep domain expertise and the capabilities of their product."
