TurbineOne has raised $36 million in Series B funding to expand its AI-powered defense software. The round was led by The General Partnership, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, XYZ Ventures, Stepstone Group, and PROOF VC. The new capital pushes the company’s valuation to $300 million.
Founded by veterans and technologists, TurbineOne develops software for real-time threat detection that operates on the edge—right where missions happen. Its tools don’t require internet access, custom hardware, or cloud infrastructure, making them especially valuable in austere environments.
The defense sector is grappling with an overload of frontline data and too few tools to process it quickly and locally. TurbineOne's solution addresses that need.

Unlike tech companies adapting their products for defense, TurbineOne was built for national security from the beginning. Its core product, the Frontline Perception System (FPS), brings AI directly to devices used in the field—from heads-up displays to autonomous drones.
With its technology already deployed across the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force, TurbineOne plans to use the new funding to accelerate global expansion. That includes hardening its self-service offerings, scaling its operations, and hiring across engineering and field teams.
The FPS software is already in use for scenarios such as drone operations, base security, and targeting support. The company aims to make its software even more accessible to national security teams by continuing to focus on ease of use, reliability, and offline functionality.

TurbineOne was founded in 2021 and is based in San Francisco. The company began by working with innovation hubs like AFWERX and the Defense Innovation Unit. It has since evolved from early-stage pilots to full-scale deployments across U.S. military branches.

The Series B round saw participation from some of the most established venture firms in both tech and defense sectors. In addition to The General Partnership, backers include Bessemer Venture Partners, XYZ Ventures, Stepstone Group, and PROOF VC.
