Zurich-based Unique has closed a $30 million Series A funding round to accelerate its AI-driven platform for financial services. The round was led by CommerzVentures and DN Capital, with continued backing from VI Partners and Pictet Group. This latest investment brings Unique’s total funding to $53 million since its 2021 launch, reinforcing its role as a specialized AI provider in wealth management, retail banking, and asset management.

Unique’s platform is already used by institutions managing over $2.3 trillion in assets, including top players such as Pictet Group, UBP, LGT Private Banking, and SIX. The company’s AI-powered solutions help streamline compliance, KYC processes, and research functions, driving efficiency for more than 30,000 financial professionals.

AI innovation reshaping financial services

As financial institutions increasingly seek AI-driven solutions that comply with strict industry regulations, Unique has positioned itself as a category leader in agentic AI.

Its platform offers 25 specialized AI models that seamlessly integrate into existing workflows, automating tasks while keeping human relationship managers at the core of client interactions.

One key success story is Pictet Group, which has implemented Unique’s AI solutions across 6,000 employees. The firm reports efficiency gains of approximately two hours per week per employee, significantly improving productivity without replacing human expertise (Citi GPS report).

Fueling global expansion and product development

With this latest funding, Unique is set to expand its footprint in the United States while advancing its AI-driven financial solutions. The company plans to scale product development, refine its AI models, and enhance data security measures to meet evolving regulatory standards.

“This funding will significantly boost our global expansion efforts and enhance our ability to deploy agentic solutions for our clients. As a vertical AI leader and a category owner, we are dedicated to advancing the financial services industry, and with the strong backing from our investors, we aim to drive the next wave of innovation.”
