Sweet Security has closed a $75 million Series B round led by Evolution Equity Partners, with Munich Re Ventures, Glilot Capital Partners, and Key1 Capital joining the investment. The funding brings the company's total capital raised to $120 million and comes as Sweet positions itself at the intersection of cloud security and AI protection.

The Tel Aviv-based company plans to use the fresh capital to expand globally and accelerate product development. Sweet has experienced significant momentum over the past year, reporting six times ARR growth and a tenfold increase in enterprise customers, including several Fortune 1000 organizations.

Tackling the Runtime Security Challenge

The cloud security market is shifting away from static configuration checks toward real-time protection. Sweet has built what it calls a Runtime CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform) that monitors production environments as they operate, rather than just scanning for vulnerabilities before deployment.

The company recently received a U.S. patent for technology that uses large language models to identify unusual patterns in log data. According to Sweet, this approach reduces false alerts to 0.04% while detecting complex, multi-step attacks that traditional rule-based systems often miss.

Expanding into AI Security

Sweet is now extending its runtime approach to secure AI systems. As organizations deploy AI agents with access to sensitive data, new security risks have emerged that differ from traditional application vulnerabilities.

The company's AI Security Platform (AISP) allows teams to discover all AI models and agents in their environment, understand how they interact with other systems, and identify misconfigurations or excessive permissions. The platform monitors agent behavior in real time, detecting adversarial attacks like prompt injection and blocking unauthorized actions.
