Fiverr has introduced Fiverr Go, an AI platform designed to protect and amplify the rights of creators. At the same time, this innovative tool gives freelancers the power to expand their businesses without losing control over their creative work.
In today's environment, AI often harnesses creative work without offering proper attribution or payment. Fiverr sees this as an opportunity to reshape how AI and human creativity interact. During Fiverr Go's launch event, the company released a short, iconic video illustrating its commitment to ensuring AI enhances human creativity rather than exploiting it.
“We built Fiverr Go to ensure creators remain at the center of the creative economy. This isn't just another AI platform—it's a fundamental reimagining of how AI and human creativity can work together. Instead of letting creators be exploited, Fiverr Go ensures they receive proper credit and compensation while giving them unprecedented tools to scale their work. This is about making our freelancers irreplaceable, not obsolete.”
Micha Kaufman, CEO and Founder of Fiverr
In an industry-first move, Fiverr also announced a Freelancer Equity Program designed to give top-performing freelancers shares in the company. According to Kaufman, “Freelancers are the backbone of today's economy and the heart of Fiverr's success. With this initiative, we're ensuring they're not just shaping the future of work—they own a piece of it.”
Built on 6.5 billion interactions and nearly 150 million transactions throughout the Fiverr marketplace, Fiverr Go centers on two offerings:
Personal AI Creation Model: This tool enables creators to train AI solely on their own portfolios. They set their prices, configure their models, and retain full ownership of their body of work, ensuring they benefit directly from any AI-assisted growth.
Personal AI Assistant: By analyzing past freelancer interactions, this assistant tailors itself to each user’s preferences. It can handle everyday tasks, communicate with potential clients, and provide actionable business insights, effectively operating as a creator’s business partner.
With Fiverr data showing that the first three minutes are critical for closing sales, this assistant helps freelancers respond quickly to opportunities—even when offline.
“The launch of Fiverr Go represents a pivotal moment in the evolution of creative work,” continued Kaufman. “We’re not just providing tools—we’re establishing a new paradigm where AI amplifies human creativity while preserving its essential value. This platform gives creators the power to scale their work without compromising their creative integrity or financial interests.”
At launch, Fiverr Go will focus on several creative service categories, including voiceover, songwriting, graphic design, illustration, copywriting, and digital marketing.
Initial access will be limited to top, vetted freelancers with proven track records of excellence, ensuring high-quality adoption and results.
Dee Smith, a voice-over artist who has earned nearly half a million dollars on the platform since 2021, shared his excitement: “Becoming a freelancer on Fiverr has completely changed my life. With Fiverr Go, I’m excited about the opportunity to expand my business in ways that were simply not possible before. This technology is going to take things to a whole new level while ensuring I maintain control over my creative work.”
But Fiverr’s vision goes beyond empowering freelancers. With Fiverr Go, the company is creating an open platform for developers, enabling them to build real-world AI applications on Fiverr’s extensive dataset—widely regarded as one of the largest transactional data repositories available.
Developers can deploy advanced agents and APIs for both simple and complex tasks and monetize their applications. In turn, freelancers gain access to cutting-edge tools that can help them scale their businesses even further.
