Orq.ai, a generative AI collaboration platform designed for enterprise-grade AI agent deployment, has successfully closed an oversubscribed €5 million seed funding round, bringing the company's total capital raised to €7.3 million since its 2022 inception.
The round was co-led by seed + speed Ventures and Galion.exe, with participation from existing investors Curiosity VC, Spacetime, XO Ventures, xdeck ventures, Waves Capital, and GoldenEggCheck.
The financing also attracted notable strategic advisors, including Sam Bourton of QuantumBlack/McKinsey, Mollie founder Adriaan Mol, and Picnic CTO Daniel Gebler.
The funding announcement comes as enterprises across Europe and North America face mounting challenges in transitioning AI prototypes to production-ready systems. While many organizations have successfully developed promising AI demonstrations, the path to full-scale deployment remains fraught with obstacles including versioning issues, incomplete monitoring, manual governance processes, and compliance complications.
Orq.ai has positioned itself to solve this production gap by offering a unified control layer that spans the entire agent lifecycle. The platform enables engineering teams to maintain full oversight of data flows, model behavior, and deployment environments—capabilities that have become increasingly critical as regulatory frameworks like GDPR and the EU AI Act impose stricter requirements on AI systems.
The company's newly launched Agent Studio and runtime infrastructure allows organizations to configure agent behaviors, workflows, and decision rules while the platform handles underlying execution complexities. This architecture has driven adoption among European and US clients, including Brand New Day Bank, Afas, Moneybird, Keyrus, and Helloprint.

Unlike point solutions that address isolated aspects of AI development, Orq.ai has built a comprehensive platform that integrates experimentation, evaluation, observability, AI gateway functionality, governance, and agent runtime capabilities into a single environment.

The platform's core capabilities include an agent runtime for production deployment with built-in auditability, an AI gateway providing access to over 300 models from 17 providers through a unified API, comprehensive experimentation and simulation tools, evaluation and monitoring systems, knowledge base integrations for retrieval-augmented generation, and infrastructure-agnostic deployment supporting cloud, hybrid, and on-premises configurations.
According to the company, organizations using Orq.ai have reduced agent development time by 67% and freed up more than 10% of engineering capacity by eliminating the need to build foundational infrastructure components from scratch.
Investors view Orq.ai's platform as infrastructure for an emerging technological shift toward agent-based enterprise systems.
