Investors believe in Converge Bio's potential to speed up the slow and costly process of bringing new drugs to market. Shahar Tzafrir, Managing Partner at TLV Partners, highlighted Converge Bio's innovative approach of treating biological data like a language, calling it a significant shift for the industry.

Tackling outdated systems in private credit

The $40 trillion asset-based finance and private credit market has been grappling with outdated systems, manual processes, and fragmented data management. As the market expands, encompassing increasingly complex investment strategies, Cardo AI aims to modernize sector operations with its advanced technology.

The platform provides investment decision-making and portfolio monitoring tools for multi-strategy credit portfolios, enabling efficiency for stakeholders including investors, banks, and servicers.

Cardo AI leverages advanced software workflows, a powerful data engine, and predictive AI algorithms to streamline the entire process, enhancing decision-making and reducing operational costs for servicers, trustees, and fund administrators.

Use of funds

Cardo AI plans to use the $15 million to enhance product development, focusing on expanding its portfolio modeling and collateral data management capabilities. Additionally, the company intends to accelerate its U.S. market expansion by onboarding new clients and investing in local partnerships.

"Our expansion into the U.S. market, supported by such prestigious institutions, highlights Cardo AI’s ability to deliver powerful technology for the alternative credit industry. We are excited to collaborate with new investors and are confident that our platform will play a significant role in scaling the market and enhancing operational excellence for our clients."

The new funding will also support team growth, with plans to hire experts in AI, data analytics, and finance. Cardo AI aims to drive innovation by refining its technology to better serve the needs of alternative credit investors and further streamline operations across the asset-based finance ecosystem.
