Sweet Security has closed a $75 million Series B round led by Evolution Equity Partners, with Munich Re Ventures, Glilot Capital Partners, and Key1 Capital joining the investment. The funding brings the company's total capital raised to $120 million and comes as Sweet positions itself at the intersection of cloud security and AI protection.
The Tel Aviv-based company plans to use the fresh capital to expand globally and accelerate product development. Sweet has experienced significant momentum over the past year, reporting six times ARR growth and a tenfold increase in enterprise customers, including several Fortune 1000 organizations.
The cloud security market is shifting away from static configuration checks toward real-time protection. Sweet has built what it calls a Runtime CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform) that monitors production environments as they operate, rather than just scanning for vulnerabilities before deployment.
"Sweet Security stands out in one of the most competitive segments of cybersecurity. The company's ability to combine real-time cloud protection with AI-powered intelligence is unlike anything else in the market."
Richard Seewald, Founder and Managing Partner at Evolution Equity Partners
The company recently received a U.S. patent for technology that uses large language models to identify unusual patterns in log data. According to Sweet, this approach reduces false alerts to 0.04% while detecting complex, multi-step attacks that traditional rule-based systems often miss.
Sweet is now extending its runtime approach to secure AI systems. As organizations deploy AI agents with access to sensitive data, new security risks have emerged that differ from traditional application vulnerabilities.
The company's AI Security Platform (AISP) allows teams to discover all AI models and agents in their environment, understand how they interact with other systems, and identify misconfigurations or excessive permissions. The platform monitors agent behavior in real time, detecting adversarial attacks like prompt injection and blocking unauthorized actions.
"Cloud attacks no longer follow predictable patterns—they evolve dynamically, just like the AI systems enterprises are now building. Protecting those environments demands real-time understanding of how models, agents, and workloads behave—not static snapshots of configurations."
Dror Kashti, co-founder and CEO of Sweet Security
Sweet Security was founded by Dror Kashti (CEO), Eyal Fisher (CPO), and Orel Ben Ishay (VP R&D). The company provides runtime-based cloud and AI security for enterprises, offering detection and response, vulnerability management, identity threat protection, and API security through a unified platform.
"Sweet Security has built a leading runtime cloud security offering, extending robust protection across cloud, data, workloads, and AI."
James Berthoty of Latio Tech
Evolution Equity Partners led the Series B, bringing expertise in cybersecurity investments. The round also included Munich Re Ventures, the venture arm of the global reinsurance company, along with returning investors Glilot Capital Partners and Key1 Capital.
Sweet's investor base also includes CyberArk Ventures and a group of individual investors with backgrounds in security and enterprise software.
